Well I’ll explain your answer by telling how my English teacher once taught about marking while writing a notice. So there was this notice in my exam in which people were invited to an auditorium for some show. Some people wrote everything required plus the #1 Seed Los Angeles Dodgers Shirt and by the same token and date, time and also the ticket price. The people who wrote the ticket price and those who did not got the same marks but the teacher appreciated the people who wrote the ticket price. So maybe there were no extra marks for writing the ticket price but surely the teacher appreciated the extra effort and also liked the students who did that extra. Similarly maybe you’ll get what your knowledge deserves even if you go without a tie in an interview but yes the extra effort will always be appreciated. You are not going to get any extra marks for the tie but they may cut your marks if you go without one.
#1 Seed Los Angeles Dodgers Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt
PS- In armed forces interviews the #1 Seed Los Angeles Dodgers Shirt and by the same token and tie does not make much difference. I’m telling this because I asked a Major once and that was his answer. Also some companies are very specific about tie so I suggest you to wear one next time you go for an interview. I like a white shirt, dark suit (pants & jacket), dark shoes and a dark red tie. I don’t like a colorful tie so I usually go with one color. It should clearly be red; no bright (flashy) or so dark it’s heading toward maroon or purple. Sometimes I wear a yellow tie but, usually, red. As someone with some “thunder thighs” herself, I understand how the dressy pants thing can be annoying, but a lot of pants now have a good amount of stretch in them and should accommodate your legs fine if you get the right size. They have ponte knit pants that look like dress pants but have a lot of spandex in them but feel like thick yoga pants or leggings. You could also wear a skirt and maybe some stockings or tights depending on the weather where you are. Do you have any skirts? If you really want to find better pants and are on a budget, consider a thrift store, or possibly a place like Walmart or Target. Or maybe possibly see if there’s anyone who is willing to loan you pants or a skirt, or are willing to part with one? A lot of people are holding onto clothes they no longer wear that are just fine and suitable for donation.
